Over the last 6 years, we have been retained to analyze numerous M & A opportunities on behalf of both buyers and sellers. Our approach is to model pre and post-acquisition operations to identify and maximize synergies. Genesis Medicus has succeeded in creating mutually beneficial synergies among medical schools and healthcare organizations to optimize medical education outcomes. The goal of the required clerkships is to expose students to a wide range of clinical activities associated with that discipline. Students master subject core competencies unique to each clerkship as well as general communication and professional competencies. GM has developed a proprietary, clinical campus model for third and fourth year medical students from international schools of medicine. These program provides these students clinical clerkship rotations at accredited Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) host sites. GM has established a dedicated division to academic medicine, Genesis Medicus Clinical Campus.
Genesis Medicus has built a team of multi-disciplinary talent specifically for meeting the current needs of FQHCs. We offer a unique combination of health center knowledge, information technology and regulatory expertise, and clinical experience. Our services include design and implementation of new service models that facilitate significant opportunities for new revenues to make up the reduction or loss of funding as a result of the elimination of entitlement and or grants in aide reduction. We work closely with executive and clinical leadership to identify areas of opportunities via linkage agreements with large teaching or surrounding hospitals. The linkage agreements allow FQHCs to partner with hospitals for services afterhours, on weekends and on holidays and provide a new source of revenues to centers and additional compensation for clinical start.
Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) health care facilities offer patients the opportunity to have selected surgical and procedural services performed outside the hospital setting. Since their inception, ASCs have demonstrated an exceptional ability to improve quality and customer service while simultaneously reducing costs. At a time when most developments in health care services and technology typically come with sticker shock, ASCs stand out as an exception to the rule.
GM’s telemedicine model is dedicated to addressing a critical segment of the population that is underserved with limited access to medical services – those patients cofined to home.
